Clear it before you plan the layout

Once inside, clear the rubble and repair the broken floor sections before deciding where anything goes. A ladder links the Factory to the work area above, and clearing every blockage between the mine and your basement is also what unlocks the Zombie Mining stations.

The Hammer is what turns it into a smelter

Only a zombie can work it
