Town orders are the sequel’s contract system: a board that only opens on one weekday, a warehouse that swallows supply crates on a timer, and a payout that two sources captured in the same week name differently. How orders work, in four points

Four rules cover almost every question about the board: when it opens, what it asks for, where the crates go, and how the count is kept.

The order database lists 22 kinds of supply box, from Supply: Iron and Supply: Fabric to Supply: Building materials I. An order names one kind and a quantity, and nothing in the material describes a delivery in any other form.

Crates go into warehouse storage, and leftovers are sold

Boxes put into the crates of the Town Warehouse and the Warehouse Cellar — by the Keeper or by a porter zombie — are taken against accepted orders as they arrive and again at every change of day. Whatever is still sitting there when a Pride begins is reportedly sold at base price.

Urgent and regular orders count differently

An urgent order takes its boxes only when the full amount is in the crates at once, while a regular order keeps a running count across weeks until its amount is reached. That single difference decides whether a partial delivery is progress or waste.

From the board to the collection

The clearest walkthrough in the material is the Supply: Iron one, and its six steps apply to any order that asks for a supply box.

Accept on the weekday the board opens

One source calls it Pride day and another calls it the sun-symbol day; neither describes the calendar, so this page keeps both names. The board is where an order is selected and later checked.

Read the counter before crafting

Accepting at the board shows how many supply crates the order expects. Crafting first and reading afterwards is how players end up with the wrong quantity or the wrong box.

Craft the box the order names

Supply: Iron wants iron supply crates. An opened mine or loose ore on the ground does not complete it — the material does not verify a universal material bill, so check the live crafting UI for the recipe.

Carry each crate down to the basement

The reported hand-in point is the pile of crates covered by a tarp in the warehouse basement. A general storage box does not count, and the warehouse crates are a different destination from that pile.

Deposit before the collection day

A launch-build report says crates delivered on the collection day itself may not resolve until the following cycle, so the safe order is to finish the shipment earlier in the week.

Return on the next collection day and use the board

A full counter is not always the final state. The board is where the finished order is resolved and its Likes are paid out.

Two sources use two names for what looks like one weekday, and the material never reconciles them, so this page records both rather than picking one. The delivery point, the weekday cycle and the reported registration problems all come from launch-build player reports, not from a developer-written order manual. Unconfirmed (checked 2026-09-28).

Three things that are easy to confuse

The Supply: Iron material separates three parts of the warehouse visit, because talking to the wrong one is the most common report of a broken order.

Jack

Jack is the character tied to warehouse and Town progression, and his dialogue is where the surrounding quests live. Player reports are specific that talking to him does not register carried crates — it is not the delivery interface.

The order board

The board is where an order is selected, where its counter can be read, and where a finished order is resolved on a later collection day. It is the only place a payout is collected.

The tarp-covered pile

The reported hand-in point is the interactable pile of crates under a tarp in the warehouse basement. Ordinary warehouse storage does not count for it, which is why an order can look unanswered while the crates are safely in a chest.

Urgent versus regular

The database tags every order Regular or Urgent, and the difference is entirely about when boxes are taken.

The order database holds 76 orders across tiers I to III and both urgency types, but only a handful of rows were captured, so this is a sample rather than the full list.

Two sources captured in the same week value the same delivery differently: the database prices orders in Likes, while a factory build-log video says a completed Supply: Iron order pays 10 Town Gratitude. Nothing in the material says the two names are the same currency or that they are different, so this page repeats both and does not choose. Unconfirmed (checked 2026-09-28).

Where the factory fits in

A Supply: Iron order is the reason the underground factory exists, and a build-log video describes the whole chain feeding it.

The line is built around one order

The video’s setup runs a zombie miner at the Old Mine, a porter station, a supply pallet and conveyors into a smithy, an assembly bench and then a supply station, with a second porter carrying the finished kits to the Town Warehouse. Every station in that line exists to turn ore into the crates the order asks for.

The crate’s material bill is disputed

The same video puts one Supply: Iron kit at eight iron ingots. The iron page’s community source describes an Iron Kit recipe of one ingot for four kits. Neither is confirmed, and they do not reconcile, so no figure is averaged here.

The reported cooldown is a week

The video describes a completed order becoming acceptable again after an in-game week, which matches the database’s note that a repeatable order can be accepted again from the next Pride. The queue-the-orders advice — several hundred crafting iterations at once — is that video’s method, not a documented system.

Why an order does not update

The Supply: Iron guide lists four explanations before it will call an order broken, and three of them are about where the crates went.

Wrong container

Crates sitting in ordinary warehouse storage are not counted. Moving them to the interactable tarp-covered pile in the basement is the reported fix.

Delivered on the collection day

A launch-build report says crates placed on the collection day itself may wait until the following weekly collection. Depositing earlier is the workaround.

Waiting for the collection

A full delivery counter is not always the final state. If everything looks complete, check the board again on the following collection day before changing anything.

A locked prerequisite

If the shipment resolved but Jack’s related dialogue is still locked, the guide’s advice is to review active Town objectives — including combat and district progress — before classifying it as an order bug.

What is still unknown

The material covers one order in detail and the rest only as database rows, so the gaps are large.

What a Like is worth, and whether it is the same thing as Town gratitude. Two sources captured in the same week use one name or the other for the same delivery.
Whether a part-delivered urgent order survives a Pride rollover, given that whatever is left in the crates is reportedly sold at the start of every Pride.
